it's a jungle out there!
this morning baby girl and i were talking about our trip to the atlanta zoo this past christmas. so naturally i asked, 'what zoo animal are you?' (these being the kind of serious discussions you have with a kid that is almost three.)
'ummm, a zebra.' she replied.
'why a zebra?' i asked, genuinely curious as this wasn’t what i had expected her to say.
'hmmm,' she thought for a moment, 'because they're so beautiful.' she looked up at me and continued, 'and you're a lion.’
‘i’m a lion?’ i asked with a smile.
‘mmhhm, and daddy's a hippo.’
‘dad’s a hippo huh?’ i laughed and gave her a little tickle.
through the giggles she concluded, ‘and lolee...a giraffe.'
so...what zoo animal are you?
